Maddy is a board certified physician assistant with over five years of experience as a surgical PA. She is a native to the Midwest, and grew up in Toledo, Ohio. She stayed close to home to complete her undergraduate Applied Health Science degree while also playing varsity tennis at Bowling Green State University. She then obtained her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University in Virginia. After graduation, she practiced for several years in the DC metro area in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery, until relocating to Denver where she worked in the neurosurgical field.
Maddy joined Hand Surgery Associates in Spring of 2020, and is very happy to be practicing again in the upper extremity orthopedic specialty. She has found that because the mixture of conditions and diversity of the specialty, this is where her passion as a physician assistant lies. When not at work, Maddy enjoys reading, exercising, and exploring Denver and the mountains with her family.
